Seasons

they come and go

from one to the next

they never remain

yet come around over and over again

ever moving

never the same

always around the corner

never settling for the same

ever pressing for growth

if one will allow

the discomfort of uncertainty

then change will have it’s eternal purpose

of deeper roots

of stronger faith

of purer hope

in something greater

in someone higher

than the ever changing seasons

of this day, this life, this world.
